Mark Siegwald

Mark Siegwald is a Senior Consultant with Bower Building Consulting, where he advises insurance carriers, contractors, and property owners on complex property loss claims. He specializes in evaluating damage caused by fires, floods, hurricanes, natural disasters, and other catastrophic events. His expertise includes preparing detailed scopes of work, reviewing and auditing estimates, negotiating project costs, and helping ensure restoration projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively. Mark is recognized for his meticulous approach, helping clients achieve fair outcomes while avoiding unnecessary costs or compromised repairs.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Northern Illinois University. He also holds several respected industry certifications from the IICRC, including Applied Structural Drying (ASD), Water Restoration Technician (WRT), and Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT). His combination of technical training and hands-on experience has established him as a trusted resource in property damage assessment and restoration consulting.

Outside of work, Mark has a lifelong passion for sports and the outdoors. A dedicated soccer player since childhood, he earned a scholarship to Northern Illinois University and played club soccer in both England and Mexico. He is also an enthusiastic angler and active member of the Rock Valley Anglers Club, enjoying both freshwater and saltwater fishing year-round.

When he’s not on the water, Mark enjoys hunting and golfing, pursuits that reflect his appreciation for the outdoors, strategic thinking, and the friendships built through shared experiences.
